Some salons tell you about their philosophy. Ours is simpler: turn up, do good hair, look after people, and do it again tomorrow. We have been doing exactly that at 370 Nacton Road since 2009.
Our story
The salon that was always there
Kelly Wade and Lynsey Dowson opened Kelly D's in 2009, on the road where their customers actually live. While salons in town have come and gone, Kelly D's has stayed put: same two directors, same address, same friendly welcome.
That kind of staying power changes what a haircut feels like. We know your name, your usual, and how your hair behaved last time. We have cut hair for mums, then their daughters, then their grandchildren. Three generations of the same families have sat in our chairs, and we do not take that lightly.
We are a small salon and proud of it. You will never be passed between strangers or rushed out of the chair. When you book with Kelly D's, you get Kelly D's.
